Great App but needs improvement

Ive been using this app for a few weeks and it works great. There is one thing that if improved could make me give five stars:

Alerts - whenever I receive an email, and Im out of the App, my phone (iphone 5s) beeps or vibes as supposed to, but no banners appears on the phone. So, if I dont hear the beeps or feels the vibe, I wont know. Definitely this is a major flaw in my view.
