Push notification issues

I cant even believe how bad this app is!!
Whos cousin sold this to BofA?
Its not whining... its lost business not to know you have new emails!
Im running ios5 on a iPhone4 checked all internal and external setting are correct but still no lock screen or menu screen pop up notifications. Its a bug that could cause me to miss important emails.
